R&D Center

The Gear and CNC Equipment Research Institute is composed of professors, senior engineers, and senior technicians, with first-class independent research and development capabilities in the bevel gear industry. It has independently designed and manufactured multiple CNC spiral bevel gear machine tools and other projects. The R&D center can provide users with the most comprehensive professional technical services for bevel gears, including bevel gear design, strength calculation, installation specifications, and providing relevant drawings.


Completed Projects

1. CNC finger milling cutter bevel gear milling machine (Patent number: ZL 2008 2 0148311.2)

2. Maximum diameter φ 2500mm CNC hard tooth surface spiral bevel gear scraping machine, maximum module 50mm, workpiece box aperture φ 400mm.

3. 21-50 inch heavy-duty spiral bevel gear milling cutter head and tool

4. Heavy duty bevel gear meshing inspection machine, with maximum diameter of the large wheel φ 2500mm, small wheel workpiece box aperture φ 400mm.


Ongoing Projects

1. Maximum diameter φ 3000mm CNC hard tooth surface spiral bevel gear scraping machine, workpiece box aperture φ 500mm.

2. Heavy duty bevel gear meshing inspection machine (maximum diameter of large wheel) φ 3000mm, small wheel workpiece box aperture φ 500mm)

Production process flow

Rough stock → Normalizing → Lathe routing Rough turning gear blank → Ultrasonic testing ultrasonic detection → Second time normalizing → Lathe semi refining Semi precision turning gear blank → Tooth routing (milling) Rough machining (milling teeth) → Quenching and tempering → Precision turning Lathe finishing → Precision milling gear milling finishing → Heat treatment heat treatment (carburizing quenching and tempering) → Gear precision turning tool finishing → Semi precision grinding outer circle and end face or tempering Semi-finishing additive circle and head face of inner hole and end face → Grinding of tooth shape → Grinding of outer circle → Magnetic particle inspection and nitric acid test of teeth
